An academic endeavor emphasizing holistic and multidisciplinary education has emerged as a significant trend in the context of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The integration of interdisciplinary research fosters a comprehensive understanding of diverse developmental initiatives concerning the Northeastern region of India. Such an approach enables a critical and reflective engagement with major governmental policy frameworks and initiatives, including Viksit Bharat â 2047, Skill India, make in India, Digital India, and other relevant development programs aimed at transforming the Northeast. This edited volume seeks to build a strong interdisciplinary platform for normative and empirical research, exploring the multiple dimensions and trajectories of transformation in Northeast India. We invite original and unpublished research papers from academicians, policymakers, research scholars, and development practitioners.
